Default Caron Fiber Engine

I was thinking about wrapping the black center engine cover in carbon fiber....using this method....my question is, is it dangerous to do aka will the engines heat melt or bubble the carbon fiber wrapping.

It shouldn't. Judging by the shape of the cover, you will have to make cuts in the cf to make it fold properly. You should pratice on some scrap pieces with fiberglass first before you spend $$$ and end up screwing things up.

You better not say anything when it doesn't look good. I may be interested in selling my cf engine cover if you want that though...
