Took my Z to the car wash...
While at a gas station car wash, I was just chilling listening to music...when this appears to me.
I'm appalled
And yes....my windows were closed >_<

yeah, I know that little roll down, but it was only at that section, before the tweeter. Scared the crap outta me too, because I didn't want my diamond audio tweeters getting soaked.

Honestly...you really should bring your Z to the car wash..thats kind of your first mistake....Z's should be handwashed...
car wash + z = swirl marks.....
or if it was a brushless then it washes like s$it anyways...

It happens to both my doors. Here's what I think:
I have window motor problems with both my doors. Now when I close my doors, they don't inch up anymore, thus leaving a little gap for the water to get in.

I have this problem with my drivers door. I had it with my passenger door as well but I had the plastic piece above the window (which is on the roof, I suppose) fly off when I was on the interstate when I first got it. Come to find out the screws that are behind the weather stripping weren't going threw all the necessary pieces to keep it intact. Bought a new piece, used the old weather strip, and fastened it the correct way and I never had a problem again.
I believe that is also partially the problem with my drivers side because you can see a gap between the stripping and the frame, and the screws aren't going through all the right pieces. Plus my window isn't aligned on the drivers side so I get bad wind noise on that side. Just a good rain or a hose will cause water to seep in from the same spot, right above the tweeter.
I know it may sound a bit confusing but check it out. You'll know exactly what I mean when you see it. If this is the case the best thing to do is remove the weather stripping and plastic piece and adjust accordingly. Before trying you may want to buy new clips because they break EASILY.

My previous car also had just glass in the door so I had this problem ... what I used to do is that keep the car running, open the passenger door , with the up and down switch bring the glass all the way down and then up , slam the door real hard and then wash my car (in ur case, drive into the car wash place) ... you can try it next time if you want ...
