Default Tommy Kaira Shift **** + '06-'8 Evo-R CF Shifter Panel

Thanks to Visionary Racing for the TK ****+finisher, and to Evo-R for the CF shift panel. Here's a pic of it for people wondering what it looks like

Sorry for the crappy phone pics.

That's beautiful! Looks great! I've never considered doing anything with the shiftknob, but that whole combo makes me rethink that idea.

Looks good. Just wondering if that bothers you that the bottom portion of your dash kit pops out a bit with the D3. Just wondering cause mine does that too and sometimes it just bothers me. I guess its just the plastic being tightly fitted. CF and shifter look top notch.

I think people are using the term "rice" in the wrong context.

If buying rare JDM parts is rice than that must be what all the top JDM company cars should be called.

BTW, nice shifter and cf cover.

it is a joke dude !

JDM does not mean the most expensive shift **** ever made...

as far as know JDM z has the same **** as the rest of the world....

also the 2 pound, hot as hell **** adds nothing and may even cause problems ( i don't know for sure , but there is a plastic bearing there that could wear out)

oh yea, it does look sick as hell !

That finisher looks HORRIBLE with the TK. You need to get a wiring grommet and just cut the bottom half off. Looks INFINITELY better. I need to get a pick of mine for you

edit for pic:
Sorry it is a bit blurry, but I was rushing... That machined finisher ruins the TK feel and look. Doesn't match finishes, artificially raises the **** from where it should sit, and the sharp angles do not flow with the ****... just a horrible selection and visionary should be ashamed that, that is their offering for a finisher for such a high buck shift ****. I got my grommet down at napa for 3 bucks, just cut half of it off and it fits and looks perfect.

Is that **** really made out of lead? Another member bought one and posted that it may have been made of lead. I don't imagine lead as a good material for something one would touch with their bare hands on a regular basis.

Nice set up. Is that CF a replacement or cover for the OEM "aluminum-look" shift area?

this man knows what he's talking about... i agree 100% about that finisher...doesn't suit the design of the **** very well....that rubber grommet is 1000times better

Thakns for the suggestion! definitely looks better than the mismatched brushed aluminum finisher I have. I'll have to get my hands on one of those grommets

it's a cf "overlay" so it's just a cover. Hm....that's the first time I've heard of it being made of lead
