Default Some interior annoyances

Ok, so I've have my 03 touring for about two months now. Three things are annoying the crap out of me though in the interior.

First, on the center console there are small discolorations. They look like little black spots but some of the cleaning stuff I used on it doesn't even lighten them. Any suggestions on what I should do to remove them?

Second, on both passenger and driver side windows, the inside of them gets a long streak on it from what looks like an adhesive whenever I roll them down and then back up. I've taken the door off before, but there is a metal plate behind it where the window goes down. Do I have to get that off before I find the culprit?

And Third, the A-pillar on the driver side seems to creak a little. I understand that its a 5 year old car, but I really want to tighten it back up, but I'm not sure how to tighten that sucker back on there.

Thanks for any help guys.

You can use touch-up paint to touch up the spots if they really bother you.
If you have the money... Invest in some CF center pieces.

For the windows, you are experiencing the window grease TSB. You can take it in to have the motor cleaned/replaced.

As for the creaking... You can take off the a=pillar and inspect it for spots that are rubbing, causing the creaking noise. You can apply electrical tape to the edge in a hidden fashion to get rid of the creaks caused by rubbing.

Thankfully I have not run into such issues. I do however hate that I have to press the button for the center console cubby multiple times for it to open. How does Nissan fail at making a basic release button work?

Thanks for the info, I guess I should go get that motor checked out.

I have the same problem with my 2005 Touring model, and I f--king hate it. When a car cost as much as this one, it should not be having this type of problem. I also hate the cheap radio, and the plastic interior parts.

What drives me crazy is that the damn center console pops open periodically when I drive because my elbow somehow hits the release button.

Sucks. Pretty much all of the release buttons for cubbies annoy the hell out of me on the Z.
