Hopefully this isn't a dumb question, but if it is I'll live with the outcome. I am thinking about buying the CF hatch for the Z and I have some concerns with my stereo system making it crack. I was wondering if anyone with the CF hatch has had any durability or any type of problems with theirs?

 

I have a CF hatch on my RSX with OEM glass. I'm running 3 10's and I didn't notice a difference. The RSX may be different, but there is quite a bit of interior paneling on the hatch.

I wouldn't foresee an issue unless you are hitting extreme DB.

dude my seibon cf hatch has mad cracks from just closing it down! =(..i posted a thread a while back with pics

 

Is there a warranty on Seibon CF, because I will be ordering side skirts & a front lip at the end of this month????

 

^ good luck with that! I ordered my Seibon lip a month ago and haven't recieved any news on its where-abouts. Prepare to wait a while for that lip.

 

Why do you want a CF hatch... just so you can be pimpin it around town?

Remove the stupid stereo equipment and you'll save the more than the weight savings of the CF hatch probably - plus save a ton of coin.

Where'd you order it from? Last time I checked all the 03-05 lips were instock.

There is no warranty on Seibon parts. We try to help customers with warranty claims, being such large distributors and friends with the guys at Seibon, but they usually go unanswered.

 

no problems here with my hatch...2 jl 12's and still looking as good as the day i put it on...

 

Where did you order yours from?????? I ordered mine from VividRacing.com sales guy was Michael and he hasn't been able to give me a definite answer on where the hell the lip is or if it's been shipped or anything. I'm pretty pissed and about to fly out there and visit that guy.

 

I use none at all because of this

 

MMMmm sounds like my experience with TH Motorsports. I know that feeling....you want to spend $800 on a ticket to punch a guy who is jerking you around on a $300 part!
