Anyone Know How To Remove Rain-X?
Trying To Apply A Windshield Banner And Need To Remove Rain-X. Help.

wash it with dishwashing detergent, then windex.

Rubbing alcohol would prolly take it right off.

Try Soft Scrub or some similar low-abrasive cleaner.

try the stuff its solvated in. It'll say it on the ingredients list maybe? It might be ethanol.

Just wash the car normally, then use Windex or Invisible Glass. I use a MF towel to clean my windows. That might help take a lot of residue off. Or go old fashioned and use newspaper to clean your window with Windex - no streaks or residue.

I checked. Its mostly water and surfactant, so try ethanol or mineral oil followed by windex. It should work.

Alcohol works ok but the orange cleaner stuff works great also.

+1, when I used to help my friend at his graphic shop we always used rubbing alcohol
