The only pics I have are from older leds I think, since my headlights still look yellowish, I later replaced them. I just got all the regular stock sizes but from that guy. The domes, I got were the boards. The plate and lights under the headlights are the high powered single leds. They have the big metal heat sink on them. They are definetly amazing, the difference between them and the old bulbs are day and night. I know lexus came up with their technology for their white lights, theyre not leds, but Ive seen my plate next to a lexus and mine looked nicer. The plates look great next to other cars, really stands out, the front lights dont match my headlights but neither do the regular bulbs, and inside my car is nice a bright at night, everything is lit up. Oh and the piia leds and bulbs i beleive were whatever was out. I bought a bunch on ebay, but they were legit. I didnt buy the 70 dollar leds from piia, i think thats who has a set for that much, im glad I didnt. From someone whose tried a lot, trust me, you wont be dissapointed. I had a bunch of friend ask me where I got mine, I didnt wanna tell them lol.

Well if you could take some pictures that would be great. My PIAA are working decent, but I would like them much brighter. I paid 30$ for mines.

bumping this one up for a question...

I am thinking about switching my bulb's to LED's. This thread has been very helpful in doing exactly that but it's missing one vital piece of information (that I searched for and could not find). What's a good replacement for the map lights from v-led's or the like? I know they are DE3175's but which style would work best? Thanks in advance.

I just bought 2(pairs) @ Ebay. Thanks for the info. I hope they last longer. I will just use this for the lic plates. I will use the PIAA's for the parking lights.

I don't see why you want to highlight a license plate with a brighter/ whiter bulb? I wish we could completely eliminate plates on cars.but since it has to be done, and have a light shining on it...I think keeping a low light and not letting it stick out more is better...Id rather people look at the rest of my car and not how bright my plate lights are.

www.superbrightleds.com

Been in for more than a year and still bright.

Note: I got inverted cone single led's for the license plate light to give off enough, but not too much light. Too much light is overpowering and looks bad IMO.

My dome lights are the vleds circuit board types. They come with different peices to plug into the stock spot. I beleive they connect with wires to a small fuse type thing. They were a bit pricey but they look great, on a side note, my uber leds burned out after a whopping 12 or 13 months of service. I just happened to get out at night and see my license plate strobing and other was out so I checked the fronts and one was out and the other was alive. I ordered 4 new ones and popped them back in but theyre such a pain for the front. They dont match my 6k bulbs nor the stock and arent really usefull anyway, so I may leave them out. Plus they fit loose in the front so I crazy glued them in the socket, might be a ***** taking them out lol. They still kick *** for light output and color though. They need to make them withstand the 14.5 volts from the car. Theyre made for 12v but idk the Z runs higher.
