Default Please help! Suggestions for billet grille and rear lip spoiler

My boss is adding some accessories to his 2004 Nissan 350Z Silver Convertible and I was wondering what looks good and where I should buy them from. He wants to purchase and install a billet grille and a rear lip spoiler painted silver.

Any help is appreciated.

He was looking at:

Billet: http://www.billetanything.com/350Z-p/25749.htm
Spoiler: http://store.myspoiler.com/cars-niss...FSY1agodeTz7tw

Is that an OEM spoiler? I have seen people like the T-Rex, but they fall off. Is that true?

it is a copy of the OEM spoiler (looks identical) i like that spoiler personally. as for the billet grill most people dont like them but if he does, tell him to check out e-bay actually. i normally dont recommend e-bay for car parts but a billet grill is a billet grille, and you can find em cheap on there.

For some reason, he likes the billet (I personally don't...I don't have it on my G). Is there something else on the Z people do that looks good and differentiates his vehicle from others (he already lowered it and put chrome wheels).

Thanks for all your help,
B

I was walking past this DB 350z just yesterday and thought it looked great the black wheels it was sitting on... then I got to the front of the car and saw a bright billet grill. I went from ... ... ... ...

Default Billet?

If he was set on it, would you take a chance and buy this one?

No, thats exactly what we are saying not to get. It looks god awful and serves no purpose but adding weight and looking horrible.

If he's set on getting a different look for the front, get something tried and true like the the Aerosync front bumper, or maybe even the Nismo Z front bumper that is made of the same material as the OEM front bumper and both cost less than $500 w/o paint (although the Nismo Z bumper will require a undertray extension that is over $400) or maybe even just a front lip. Buying things that are cheap with the only intent to have it look "different" will only make it look like garbage.

Tell him all of my350z told him not to get a billet grill and did this (102,184 members, I will gladly take the responsibility for speaking for all of them - I will do them proud.)

Default I have the...

T-rex grille and I like it. It's about $200 so try it and if it isn't preferred, it is easily removed.

Default Your Boss needs help....!

Take your boss to a Z/G meet so he can see what looks good. You might even suggest that the Z requires major cooling and the billet grille would
block the much needed airflow. I'm sure he doesn't want his beloved Z running
warmer than it should.... Next time you want to do him a favor order
him a subscription to Nissan Sport maybe for his birthday. That should give
him more knowledge about his car.
