LOL wow there is a store where you could purchase them...
Thought some people would be cheap and rip it off and act like the 90's when kids used to rip off acura and honda emblems for their belt buckles

My bf bought that emblem. It doesn't fit. It is too wide and long. But he had our body shop make the groove a little bigger and had them place the emblem in so it sits flush. Looks really good how he did it. I think he even clear coated over it too.

I have searched high and low for this, and in the past asked
andy and others about locating this and the supplied mesh
with the auth. V2. Unfortunately, he was unable to find same,
and I just had my unit shaved/filled. I believe the only way to
get the small badge you are reffering to is to purchase a whole
front bumper kit from Nismo.

You paid over $1000 for something you couldve gotten for 1/4 of that price. I'm not knocking on anyone who has an authentic one, but if you can find one that's almost exactly like the real one... well I see no shame. I call it smart shopping.

Take for example, the small piece of plastic that acts as an extension from the undertray to the bumper on the Nismo Z front bumper - well over $400! The entire bumber is only $480 for god sakes!
Or..the mesh that goes in the rear bumper of the Nismo Z, $430! $430 dollars for two very small sheets of mesh. Really Nismo, $430 for mesh, really?
You'd THINK that they would like to cater more to their most loyal customers and get a real niche going with their internal tuning parts company by offering parts only slightly above their cost of R&D and production to get a lot of interest in the Nissan product and brand, but many of their parts are so far out of reach for most enthusiasts that people are forced to go aftermarket. There isn't any shame in that that I can see.

In any event, many who have the original "V2" feels it cracks too easily (it's fiberglass) and some prefer the FRP version that Shine makes that is a little more generous, fits well, and comes at a great price. I see no shame in that. If a large company like Nissan/NISMO can't offer their products at a reasonable price people are bound to undercut it.

You hit the nail right on the head there!
P.S. I actually got my bumper for $199 off ebay (Buy it now) price plus $40 to pick up.
