Default Headlight question

I have an 03 touring with HID. My passenger side housing has cracks all over the outside. Could I just buy a set of halogen lights on ebay and take them apart to use the housings for my HID. Thanks for the help

I think you can!

I have the same car with the same problem. I am just not sure if I should do that or save some money and get a set of 06+ head light...

according to CinCity designs, you can't do this. they posted in another thread about someoen wanting to do the same thing with the ebay black halogen lights with the HID.

Both my head lights look like spidered glass. I feels smooth on the out side so i took em apart to see if it was on the inside and that was smooth also, so i have no clue whats goin on.

Not a bad idea, maybe my extended warranty will cover it.

I wish mine looked that good! I've got all kinds of crap in my lights. I'll be taking them apart, black housing them, and resealing them in the coming months and hopefully that will take care of about 1/2 my headlight issues.

I have some of the same problems you do as well though with the lens, and from what I have read there is a film on the inside of the lens that you cannot mess with or it will just be worse that before, so I see where your dilemma comes up. I wish I just had 2 grand to give to CinCity.
