wow that sucks =\ i have the same seibon ts hood but i guess im one of those lucky ones, mines fit perfect. i tired the seibon vs hood but had the same problem as you. all i did was took the strut off and no more gap. if you loose the battery and brake covers, and remove the front strut(i wouldnt but just saying..) and it still dont sit right, then go get yourself a new hood. not all car parts that comes out of the factory are made the way they are suppose to, sadly we have to find out the hard way

For some reason Seibon's terms and conditions always get looked over in these threads.

"Installation
All products require professional installation. Buyer understands that some products may require modifications for correct fitment. Minor adjustments may be necessary as part of the normal installation process. All hoods require hood pins for safety reasons. All carbon fiber products will not sustain any force or weight, for they could be cracked by such force or weight. Seibon has made an effort to produce all its aftermarket products to fit the original factory vehicles as closely as possible. However, some occasional prepping may be necessary for an ideal fit. The buyer needs to perform these steps to his/her satisfaction before installation. If the buyer wishes to paint the products, he or she must pre-fit the parts to the vehicle before painting to ensure proper fit. There are absolutely no returns on painted products."

Bring to a shop who knows what they are doing.

worse comes to worse-
play it off like you're trying to do the rear tilted hood venting..i.e. put large spacers on the back of the hood hinge to tilt the rear up to allow air in from the back of the engine bay.
