perhaps im too late, but i had similar fitment issues w/my seibon hood also. i was able to somewhat fix the problem by removing 2 rubber things as shown in the picture below...btw this is NOT my car, just a decent shot i found on the net to show you what i removed. after removal of those pieces, my seibon hood setup about a half a cm below the fender line. i hope this helps you and anyone else w/this problem

^thanks, my hood fits ALOT better than before, but I was always curious about that springed hood stopper. did you just cut it off?

mmm i dont recall cutting anything, but i did have to adjust the hood release to setup a bit higher than stock in for me to actually close the hood.

...glad to hear you hood is sitting better though^^

guys need some help...I have a ts cf hood on my 04 roadster and it does not fit well...I have taken off the strut bar...adjusted the latch...took out the battery and fluid cover...removed those two rubber things like nismoZomsin did and it still does not fit! Do you think a body shop could help me out??? It latches on but not well...Ill put it this way....I don't need the hood pop(release_ button in the car...I can do it from the front of the car! Any suggestions? Please help...Thanks
