Default Seat Heat Buttons!!

Newb question,

I keep clicking the dang Seat Heater button on while I am driving, I rest my foream in that area in between shifts. Does anyone know if there is a cover made to put on top of that area or have any other suggestions?
Kinda tired of driving and a few minutes later thinking, man, my as is toasty, then realizing I am self roasting myself on low without any mesquite flavoring to go on top.

Thanks,

JB

Prob not the best idea but you could always just take the fuse out for the seat heaters so the switch wouldn't do anything. Also you could try putting some form of padding there...no button pressing and a nicer feel.

I use to have the same problem. I don't believe you can unplug the plug under the seat either, do disable it. The plug also controls the power seats...

Pull up the center console trim and unplug the harness for the summer months.

just pull the buttons out and cut and add wire and extend the switches to the two open spots on the lower dash, next to the drivers door under the steering wheel......

see pic..

Wow, so your clarvoyant? Who knew?

"Clairvoyance can also be a psychic ability that allows you to experience events, energies, and places without being restricted by location, time or space. Clairvoyance is a state of oneness in time at different levels. There is no time in different parts or the universe. Time exists as the organization of actions, events and the idea of "before and after". " -extract from link below...

DC,
what do you think of the relocation idea??

i have thought of doing it myself, becuase like you, im always hitting the buttons..it hasnt been a problem lately though, because those switches dont do anything right now......just recently i switched to cloth seats (see pic), but i plan on transfering the cloth covers to my oem seats that had the leather and electric seat motors, just havent gotten around to it, since i have to get with an apohlestery expert and have them make a cut around the electric seat switch that my cloth seats obviously dont have.

Thanks for the idea. I'll tinker around with it and see what I can do. I actually saw a piece of clear plastic that I could shave to make a cover out of first though. I'll post up a pic of it, before and after.... Although I am not clairvoyant in any case, mind you.
