i completley agree with what your saying. I have a 05 redline and i've had a couple of people come up to me saying that the body shop did a horrible paint job cause of all the orange peel. I then tell them i've never been in a wreck and thats stock paint. No one wants to believe me. The orange peel is horrible on my Z!!

I passed on the red too since it didn't quite have the flaky pop to it. It wasn't as deep as the Daytona, or metallic like the Silverstone.
Though some members on here have managed to make their redlines look really good with a wash-n-wax.

It might not have the metallic pop, but it is a very bright color that can look good when well kept. Orange peel is just impossible to not have any, even if you have fresh new paint, there will be some orange peel, if not then, they will eventually occur. It's life deal with it. I notice it on my white ppw too. If you hate it that bad wetsand and buff the entire car.
