alright i searched for this and came up with nothing. i just had a friend pick my car up from storage and she said that the gauge cluster keeps blinking a red light even with the car off. i know thats the shift light. but what is it doing blinking while the car is off!?

are you sure its the guage cluster not the top of the dash?

 

all i got from her was up by the steering wheel. so im guessing its an alarm light or something of that nature?

 

ya she probably means the dash. thats up by the steering wheel too. and it's the alarm

 

thanks guys. at first when she told me i was confused why the shift light would be blinking. but i got it now.
