Default I am an idiot... (headlight)

EDIT ADDED PICS.........

Well i got my Z just this past wednesday. The headlights were pretty nasty looking....okay maybe not nasty but too beat up for me to handle. The gentlemen gave me a nicer set of stock headlights and some clear reflectors for them.

I decided to save those good headlights and mod my other ones.

Everything went great even the "scary" oven part.

It got dark and i was waiting for the silicone to finish setting up before i dropped the hood.

I went to get my car to go take some pictures and this great night time shooting spot, and blip blip. No lights.... then i remembered. I never plugged them in... HOW STUPID..

So I am guessing i have to remove the bumper and lights again in order to get to the plug.... OH JOY.

Either way thank you to everyone on the site and the great write ups that gave me the confidence to do the work.

Pics tomorrow i hope.

EDITTED.. ADDED PICS... FINALLY FIXED AND FINISHED

and the first picture EVER to be released by me of my new (to me) 350z

+1 for thread title. Mistakes happen though, at least you can fix it.

Whoosh... being a skinny minny can help. I just pulled the inner fender back and was able to plug them in.

I am shooting some pics as soon as the sun gets at a different angle. I just tried and its too sexy and causes a glare.

Soo a full set of pics are waiting to be taken...... BUM BUM BUM...

Good to know. Yes, removing fender liner (or reaching in through it) is sufficient to plug the harness back in. Removing bumper again is completely unnecessary.
