Default Sound deadening material, smells like ***!!!

Ok, I went on vacation for a week, I came back and the inside of my Z just ****ing reaked like ***...

I could not figure it out, I sprayed air freshener everywhere, still the smells stayed. I went underneath the Z to check if I hit something before storing it in the garage, and found nothing.

I sat inside, started sniffing around, and I noticed my ash tray, ebrake and shifter area was the strongest smell. I took everything out of my ashtray, and found nothing. I started to dissemble the shifter, and behind the A/C controls, I found the sound deadening material, only it was not gray the last time I check, it's ****ing GREEN!!!!

Is this **** mold or what? I am afraid to move it, could be an animal in there or something...

(lol, looks like weed...)

Let me just tell you, this material smells like a smelly smell, ****ing reaks! It's the cause, but WTF is it?!?!
Some of it's gray, but mostly green...

Dealer, tomorrow, STAT!

^I have no idea. I did not find anything under/near the tranny nor engine area. My doors and windows were locked.

Also, how would something get in that area?

I think I am just going to take it out and put it on a platter and give it to my dealer, let them quarantine my Z lol. And replace all that stuff. It's not much, a good hand full, but I am wearing a mask and it just reaks...

my car didn't have that stuff behind my ac controls. I know that smell though and I definately wouldn't want it in my car.

Doubt it. But it had to have gotten there while I was away, because I did not even sense a smell before leaving. I guess it might have squeezed through a very small hole, got stuck in the material and just died.
