Default question about wing/spoiler

i was wondering im not sure how the wing or spoiler was put on in the back but i dont like it can sum1 tell me an estimate of how much itll cost to take it off and how much the paint would cost with it realisticallly. the type of wing it is like is like the infiniti g35 coupe kind

A pic would be very helpful here.

It depends on how it is mounted. If they just used some heavy duty 3M double sided tape, it shouldnt be too bad. Just cleaning up any fine scratches / goo.

Most likely though, they would have drilled several holes to mount it. In this case, you'll need to get them filled / painted. I'd estimate several hundred to do that properly.

On the plus side, you can recoup some of your losses by selling the spoiler to another person.

Looks like the stock lip. If done from the factory it has 4 holes on the rear deck, with the largest 1 being 11/16". Gonna spend $$$ to fill the holes and have the 3 satge paint reshot. maybe you will luck out & if you go with something else it might cover the existing holes. I too personally like the wing off the G35 & my local Infiniti stealership gave me a quote of just lite of $500.00 for the wing, paint, install & wiring of the 3rd brake light. I have seen this on the Z & it looks awesome, it does cover part of the rear brake lights on the Z though. Good luck & pics when you are done please.
