I am not going to cry over Espirit designers losing out. I had <- past tense their kit. Not only did I pay too much for substandard work I waited 94 days to get it! I thought I would get at least prompt attention when I wired the money to them but forget that.

I am about customer serivce. I deliver customer service to those who want to give me the chance to earn their business. Go look at my Vendor Stats (350Mods) Perfect everytime. Espirit not only ignored me but sent me a kit that didnt fit. MY punishment to them? Send their kit off to get made right and cheaper. MY fGlass is handlaid- NOT CHOPPER and fits so good a guy like Parker can put it on in his driveway.

So in the end Replica vs Real in my book comes down to this: For the same look at the same quality $2600 delivered vs 950.00 delivered extra 600 to get it to fit vs. Perfect fit. I'll stay replica this time.

If it were Vertex...no doubt buy real, WW, Kam, Wald..buy real.

Either way the choice is yours just don't verbally assault someone for having differences...this is a civil conversation.

have you ever bought CVS brand things? or Stop and Shop (or whatever supermarket you have around you) brand things?

if so...you are supporting "imitation products".

there is too much immitation anything out there...everyone buys it once in a while. it's called competition. without it...there would be a monopoly on every item and they would cost an arms and a leg (as if they aren't expensive enough). the manufacturer could price it at whatever they wanted...cause they know people will buy. now...they lower prices since they are losing business.

STFU about replica vs. real. As stated above, every supermarket has their house brand ripoff of products ie: pop tarts, paper towels, etc etc. This thread is NOT about ethics, so if you must discuss it, start another thread to appease yourselves. Thank you.

Back on topic. That kit looks awesome in that color. I love a silver car w/ a kit. Unfortunately, I don't think a kitted red car looks good at all...

wow there pal. i hope you weren't trying to pick a fight with me???? i was just stating the same thing as you. if you look at my signature, i have a REPLICA nismo kit. i was just saying that people should shut up about the whole "brand name shizit" cause, they too, probably buy "imitation" stuff.

Like this man states what if someone made an exact replica of your Z cover. They made it little thinner, used wet laminate carbon fiber, and used your exact same design. The end rusult was that the look was exacly the same, price was cheaper, and fit was exact.

Face it you would be pissed Parker. You went through designing, making a mold, advertising, and marketing of your Z cover. You would loose money if someone stole your product and made a mold out of it. Your consumer would get hurt too and get a lower quality product.

I Wise man once told me never be afraid of competition !!

people can imatate my product but I gurantee you they can't duplicate what I have allready done...

Wet laminate etc, velcro stick on etc.........

It is a cheap imatation !

It is NOT TrueMold

Im not afraid of competition never have !

Also I saw the original epsrit kit quality and fit not there !!!

Dave had to put alot of money to make it fit and look right.

Talking Esprit Replica

The KIT looks great, Esprit is probably not too happy, but it looks really good.

I think many of those kits will sell over the esprit kit.

Rock on, those wheels look great too!!

Well Dave didn’t put design time or any kind and is ripping off people in the business to make a buck. I guarantee people are going to complain about fitment. No copied kit fits perfect.

I agree your quality is good parker but the fact of the matter that you’re not making hood or a wing. Dry carbon is great for durability and to make things lighter. Your cover is only for looks whats the catch here.

It really looks no different then the wet laminate process that DG uses. The only edge you have is because it has the Z logo.

Honestly I have lost respect now for two vendors here. You guys know the industry and just are adding fuel to the fire of this shady shady bussiness.

Its definely a shame that one boosts about saving money and the the other person boosts about making improvements on something he didnt design.

I was a consumer I got ripped off and I helped the other owners out. Please someone start throwing rocks at me. If I wasnt a vendor now I'd be getting a parade for my actions. Hey sorry I lost your respect but Espirit lost mine 5 months ago...BFD

The Fact is Red6 DG's parts are good best wet lamianate I have ever seen. I have seen some bad ones out there.

But when you have wet lamiante like that under the hood it will yellow like some hoods and crack There is clearcoat on top of that with a unstable resin.

and when you have wet lamianate the weave is never straight !

There is a big diffrence

between mine and others

Mine is a replacement part also not velcro

so with that your adding weight no losing weight

kinda off topic BUT... so if i buy a fake Rolex and because of that I impress the ladies, my boss, my gfs mom and everyone else.

Does it make it right to buy a fake watch just to say I have a Rolex? But hey even if its a fake, it fits like it, looks like it and feels like it.

So....
