Default veilside vi1 front lip

Alright, so i purchased an origional veilside front lip after my INGS disaster with the front lip REPLICA...The fit is much better...The sides and everything seem to go on like a glove...NOW, the middle portion where thecenter of the lip sits ontop of the bumper, mine seems a bit short and is showing the bumper at the top....can people post pics of the veilside v1 front lip on their car..

When you guys mount your lips, are you just using double sides tape in the middle, and using the two oem bolts on each side underneath the lip?

PM replied.

also, with the lips (and any products really) the gel coat on top is simply not going to cure in the EXACT same way everytime. Sometimes it is a bit thicker than usual, and that is just due to it's nature.
It is better for the part to be a bit tight rather than a bit loose. If it is tight, you can simply sand some small areas, but if it is loose, you would have to ADD material to make it fit.

I hope this helps.
