All,

I'm wiring up some LEDs for my front sidemarkers and getting them to blink like a normal turn signal requires modification of the flasher unit...does an 07 Z use electronic or thermal flashers? I found a procedure for modifying the flasher, but it only works on electronic flashers.

Help is much appreciated!

There is a thread somewhere on the site that talks about having to use resistors to control the flash. I'd search it for you but the search can be time consuming.

yes using load resistors to simulate an incandescent bulb works but modifying the flasher unit also works. The problem with LEDs is they draw less current than an incandescent bulb, thus the flasher thinks there is a bulb out and doubles the flash rate.
