Any comments on:

This design looks like it would catch many of the bugs and small rocks finding their way to the radiator. What do you think?

Most will poo-poo the grill, but definitely get the black if you get it.

Thanks guys. Tree Fiddy - Yeah, it's not much for glamour but it's OK. I'm betting it will solve the problem. Yesterday I filled a guart-size baggy with grasshopper remains. There has to be a better way.
