I can confirm that 2003-2006 rear bumper support beams were identical so 11493 was the hitch to use. As for 2007-2008, online parts look up show the same rear bumpers. All you need to do is lay on the ground and peak between the bumper and the muffler. Look at the support beam and if it's BOXED (meaning it's edges are squared), then definitely it's the 11493. G35 uses a rounded bumper beam. If you can take a picture of it from below, I would recognize it right away too.
When you order the 11493 from hitchsource.com, remember to enter the coupon code "350z" and to select the year 2006. Strangely, every other year on the site gives you the wrong part (11483 g35 hitch).
I'll take a peak at an 2008 350z and reply sometime this week to confirm.
