Default Unknown Part!!!

So I bought a Nismo Titanium Shifter like couple weeks ago. I followed the directions to remove the OEM shift **** and installed the new one. After I installed it, I wanted to remove it to see something. Next thing you know this part fell out of my shift ****. I don't know if it was on my shift lever or in my shift **** itself but I just cannot figure out where this came from. My shift **** fits perfectly without that part so I don't know what it is. Please help!

Do not re-install it. Leave it off. It will rattle like crazy if you put it back.
