Default Part of my shifter **** fell off

The top, "metal" part of my stock leather shifter **** just popped off while I was shifting today. It looks like it was just glued in there. Pretty pathetic and disappointing in my opinion.

I'll go ahead and glue it back in but this wasn't one of the problems I would expect to arise after 2,000 miles.

Any suggestions on an aftermarket shifter? Just curious to see what's out there.

Nismo has some of the best designs, not to mention their relatively cheap.

I've got a Forged Performance **** and I absolutely love it. It has an amazing feel.

Thanks guys! Is the assembly pretty easy? Does it just screw on and off?

quick search for a tutorial. Looks involved. Remove the space between 350z- and tech for a proper link.

It's very easy. It screws off/on. Just make sure that you don't allow the shifter stalk to turn, it could damage your transmission if twisted drastically. A few degrees won't hurt, but get a good tight grip on it anyway.

Yes. I've had mine for a few weeks now and I absolutely love it. I've had three different ***** over the last year and this one is fantastic. It fits in your hand perfectly. Surprisingly, it doesn't get that hot either. I bought mine from another member for 85. If you compare Forged price to other high-quality *****, it's in line. It's also nice because it fits like the original, meaning that it goes all the way down to the shift boot like it should. The other ***** that I used didn't.
It's kind of funny too, every picture that I saw of the **** always looked large to me, but it is really very small. I don't think anyone that likes the look of the **** would be disappointed with the purchase.
