Default Fiberglass version of Seibon VS2?

I was looking for a fiberglass version of the Seibon VS2. All I was able to find a no name brand from a site i have never heard of here. I have a feeling the fittment would be all sorts of messed up.....

Is there anywhere else to find such a hood? Anyone know anything about that site?

Thanks!

Deffinetly stay AWAY from that replica. Why do you want it in fiberglass? Why not carbon fiber? They are both just as easily paintable.

Well I figured if I am going to paint it so why get the carbon fiber? I know its lighter but that part doesnt appeal to me.

Also I was in a wreck and they are giving me $400 to play with for the hood

Doesnt have to be the seibon, I just want that style.

You for what you get, if you a buy a $200 hood on Ebay and expect it to fit or look good, your wrong. $400 isn't very much to "play" with a new hood, OEM hoods cost more then that.

As far as I know only Seibon and VIS make "that" style hood. You might want to try VIS since they carry more fiberglass hoods then Seibon would. You can always special order a Seibon hood, but expect a 2 month wait.

I was told by my adjuster that they are getting an oem hood for $300, i thought he was being nice giving me an extra 100-150.

I wasnt planning to get some cheap knockoff, just wanted a fiberglass version and that one i posted was the only one i could find ill check out VIS, thanks for your help!

the carbon one is not lighter...the Seibon carbon hoods, with the exception of their dry carbon, are fiberglass. They simply have a carbon overlay on them. They are not made of carbon fiber.

Personally, I'd opt for the stock hood - at least you know it fits, and it's probably lighter than either of the 2 options you are considering (the Seibon one is heavier than stock, VIS I don't know about, but based on past experiences with their stuff on Evo's and Subaru's, I wouldn't trust a coffee mug made by them, let alone a hood)

stock it is then, is the newest Z hood a direct bolt on to older Z's? I like the new hood style.
