Angry Clear bra nick problem

Hello, brand new z owner here. This car seriously kicks ***!

Anyway, I had Venture clear bra installed last week on the hood and bumper, but already found 2 nicks on the hood bra. It's been only 10 days since I got this black car! Can't get over it. Is there any way to repair it? I read somewhere that heat gun might fix it, but not sure if that really works.

Otherwise, I would have to get another clear bra to protect the bra itself. That would be tricky.

scrap the bra and look into getting mylar in place instead... that **** is cool, very stealthy and will get you the same protective results. just buy a new mylar cover every couple of years rather then try to repair it, its cheap.

The clear bra is to protect the paint. Now you want to protect the bra that is protecting the paint. I think this is going to far.

Be very careful with a heat gun - I tried to take my clear bra off with one and got a little too close to the car. The plastic bumper area near where I was aiming the heat gun actually melted a smidge. It's not noticable unless you're looking for it, but I gave up trying to get the bra off. If I were you, I'd simply go back in time and not put the bra on in the first place- IMO, they are an eye-sore after a few years and a biznitch to try to remove later on.

"I think I'mma buy a helmet cover to protect my Shoei helmet from debris when I'm riding on the freeway..."

^+1 The clear bra is protect the part of your car that is covered. I've had mine for over two years and have a couple of nicks on the hood. I'm just happy it did not dent the hood. It did its job well.

So, if you don't want anything to happen to your car, just bubble wrap it and it'll be well-protected from the elements.

Hahhahaa, dang I was thinking about putting 10 sheets of bra on the hood. Bubble wrap sounds even better.

Thanks for the info on heat gun. I just looked at the nicks closer yesterday and found one of the nicks actually went thru the bra and damaged the paint a bit. Ouch!

400$ every 10 days, that's quite an expensive fix.
