Default How Many Of You Have Aftermarket Steering Wheels?

I was just thinking about it, and how many of you that DD your Z have an after market steering wheel?

I wasn't thinking at first, but I thought about it disabling the airbag obviously... and for a DD that MAY be not so cool

What do you guys think?

And if you are running an after market wheel, can you post pics please???? Preferably a MOMO Jet, thats what I'm looking at.... I did a search but not much has come up sorry

I wouldn't expect many ppl on here to disable their safety equipment on a DD...not to mention cruise control and for some, audio controls.

I'd suggest against it, as Airbags do save lives...but its your car and your life.

or you can get a wheel that is both not stock, and has an airbag

Audio controls can always be relocated if it's that important - cruise could as well

This is mine - from the R34 GTR Z Tune

***, that wheel is sexy! I saw it a few months ago, I want but $699 is too steep for a wheel.

true, not cheap - but an aftermarket wheel + quick release + hub ends up being right around the same amount, but does not have an airbag

well I roll with aftermarket steering wheel, cage, harness bar, seats and harnesses.

But mine is in no way a DD.

Also personally ive had bad experiences with airbags, so Im not the biggest fan at all of them
