I just got a 9500i escort and I heard they have a wireless kit so I don't have to run the power to the cig adapter

And the only wireless one I know of is the Escort Solo S2, which has some pretty bad reviews by the way. I wanted to buy that one because I didn't want to have a chord, but after reading the reviews on it I just went with the 9500i

The Escort website doesn't list any 'wireless' kit. There are hardwire kits, maybe you're mistaken and that's what you meant?
All the accessories for the Escort 9500i can be found here

It says they shut off for millisecond periods of time which reduces sensitivity. I ended up find that that website when I did a search for worlds best radar detector. Which came down to the V1 and the STi driver which I ended up buying

Other than this, I've not heard of a "wireless" option for a wired Escort.
