Default Rear Signal Removal

Whats up,

I know this has been covered before, but I did not find anything to helpful in the DIY thread and the search feature it almost impossible to use accurately.

Here in about 18 days I will be smoking my taillights, front reflectors, and rear back up light housing while I am on mid tour from Iraq. The Tails are to easy as are the front reflectors due to a awesome right up in the DIY section by "usmanasif". What I cannot find any info on are the back up lights. How do you remove the housing? It may be as easy as getting under the bumper and loosening a few bolts, but being in Iraq limits me greatly. Can anyone give some quick instructions of how to remove them...does the rear bumper have to come off just like the front one? Any info would be nice.

Thanks for the link...and I know how to spell the word...unfortunately you cannot edit the title of a post...so I had to leave it as is

PS: The link provided did not answer my question although a post within that thread did. I guess to remove the housing you have to remove the rear bumper. For future search references, here is a link to a good "rear bumper removal DIY thread":

are u asking how to replace the actuall back up bulb or just on how to remove the rear signal area so u can smoke the lenses if your just trying to smoke the lenses u can either tape off around the lenses and paint it like that or you will have to remove your rear bumper in order to access them

if you are looking to replace your signal bulb or your reverse light bulbs you will have to remove your tail light and then u can reach inside to your signal bulb and back up bulb i hope i was able to clear some things up for u
