I looked around here a little and didn't find any definite numbers...
Just wondering how much you guys payed to have your bumpers painted. I'm pickin' up a new one (FRP Nismo V2 replica) from a guy who hasn't had it painted yet and I just want to have an idea of what a good price is. I guess the usual body color (Daytona Blue) with the black mouth in the middle. Or if any body shop guys are on here, what would you charge? I work at a car dealership here in Vegas so I can ask some contacts and get some hook-ups, but I'm just wondering what you guys payed. Thanks for the input guys.

Yea I just got my ENTIRE FRP Kit, V1 though...
Front bump, sides, rear panels and V1 Spoiler, I got quoted 6-700 bucks to paint/install.
So with the front bumper, I wouldnt pay more than 300 for the paint/install.

unfortunately, there are no definite #'s
best bet, contact local bodyshops....get a bunch of quotes, visit the shops, show them the bumper, go with whomever you are comfortable with. Getting quotes on stuff like paint is very, very subjective, since there is a wide range of prep time, material costs, etc

I know that there is no set price. I meant there were no definite numbers of what guys have payed. That's why I said I just wanted to see how much these guys payed and what kind of work it was and if they were happy with it. A body shop can't tell me that. I work in the car business and as most of you know people will tell you almost anything you want to hear to get your business. I will be getting quotes from places (like I said in my original post) but this is for background info.
SRTtoZ your response is exactly what I'm looking for, thanks dude

really depends on how much work you want/need done. I can promise you that if you pay in the 200-300 buck range for a paint job that they will not be filling all the pin holes on your bumper. The replicas that I have seen need hours of prep time to fill all the pin holes. Like silverstone Z states, most will need to basically be refinished.
A fair price to expect to pay for quality work would be $450-600. I know of people that have paid upwords of 800 bucks to have replicas painted due to the amount of prep required

While some of you guys are right saying it should cost more due to prep and whatnot, it really depends on where you get it done.
Some shops are COMPLETE rip offs...COMPLETE. Some kids will pay 1200-1500 to paint a complete kit when others will pay 800 and have the same quality of work done. Granted id rather pay more for a better job than pay 500 for a Shotty job.
Depends on where you live and who you go to...
I am not complaining about the quote I got because the place I am getting it done is known for their work around here in the Hudson Valley...they have tons of race cars and have done a few of my friends cars. Quality work at an affordable price.
