installed recently..here's a few details. It's a nice piece, fits very well, bolts on to the stock pattern, has a 'hatch' for the oil plug. I may paint it.
they had it in stock. i drove down and got it slapped on. They have a guy there speaks Japanese and seem to be able to get all kind of trick Japanese stuff pretty quick. Took it over to a place in Torrance called Signal..real killer Tuner place..3 Japanese guys -they have their *** together. i scored these Volks blue lugnuts which match the valve stems there...now if the rims will just hurry up and arrive...
Interesting, does the stock grill still exist under this grill??? I have my reservations, cause a lot of these grills appear to restrict airflow a bit.
yes there is...all I can say is i just drove the car to LA and back Monday...about 900 miles..a mixture of 110 mph freeway and 'parking lot' LA Freeway trafficjam and it ran just fine. Temps from 60 degrees here to over 100 in LA... I have a Crawford Plenum and am keeping the stock ram Air setup....as it actually works better than CAI if physics are to be believed.
its fiberglass with cf on the exposed lip. the FG is black and 'finished' on the bottom and unfinished on the 'inside ' or 'top' of the underbody part.
