Who would pay $450+ shipping for a carbon fiber hood like this? Is this a good price? I'm looking at getting one...and I'm wondering if this is a good price. Also, who else would be in to get one? No, this isn't a group buy or anything...I'm just wondering if people know of a better price...and where I can get it.

welllll that would depend.

is this 100% wet cf or overlay? seems too cheap for CF(and no hood pins) and overlay is useless. also fitment would be important, better pics would help see if it fits good or not.

 

it is carbon fiber overlay. the base is fiberglass and there is a carbon fiber overlay. no hood pins or anything. fittment is perfect. but, yes, it is carbon fiber overlay over fiberglass. the only other price close to this that i've found is $490.
