Finally got my new clear reflectors ordered. For those of you that have changed these, what is involved? Do the wheels need to come off? Need to be on a lift? Panels removed?

 

Need to remove the front bumper bolts under the hood, under the caps. Remove the wheel well liner bolts at the bottom where they bolt into the bumper and pull the liner out a bit. Reach in and unbolt the headlight support brackets, think there are two bolts in there. Then you can reach the reflector mounting bolts. You do NOT need to remove the bumper, nor the wheels. Not really all that difficult - took 2 of us 30 minutes to do mine. There is probably a better step-by-step somewhere on this forum, or for sure on at least one of the others.

 

You can install it by going through the wheel liners.



You can also remove the front bumper to take this time to clean anything out.

 

The one on the right side is a b**** if you do it with the bumper on, because the windshield washer reservoir is right up against the reflector bolts.

I had to remove the front bumper. If you can find someone that has done it before (bumper removal), I highly suggest having them do it. It takes about 20-30 min installed, if you know what you are doing/looking for.
