Question Disable airbag lights? new seats and steering wheel

Gona fit quick release kit and Bride seats.
Can I disable the lamp itself easy, it's a LED, right?
Or do I have to fit resistors? 2.2ohms for front airbags and 2.7ohms for side ones?

steering wheel airbag on USDM cars takes TWO resistors.
seat only takes on on 03-05.5.. i think the 06-08 Z have weight sensors in which you will have to roll up to fool that there is > than 75 or 80 pounds of weight( or something like that)

there are airbag reset procedures that i posted up a while back (do search for SRS Airbag) that should reset your flashing airbag light..

you must have turned on the car w/o the resistor in place.. that will make it flash..

Thanx for replying
No I didn't find anyone, even though it must be more than one, there's no one close enough. And I'm in a big hurry since I'm repainting the car and doing lots of work to make it fit for a major car show.

I'll let the lamp flash until disable it at the led conversion

My airbag light turned on. I tried the reset procedure, but it just stays on. the code that it flashes is for the passenger dash air bag.

I'm the only one that ever rides in the car, so I'm not concerned with it being operational....and a new passenger dash back is about $1K dollars.

So how and where do I place a resistor to get this thing turned off?

Thanks so much.

the dealer says that both of my seat airbag sensors are bad and it will be about $1000 to fix...i have heard of making your own reisistors to disable the airbags and make the airbag light go away, does anyone have a good picture of a resistor installed, i am going to pick up some cheap resistors from radioshack and attempt to make and install them myself, thanks

i tried everything (sticking the resistors into the holes, used wire splicers to connect them, and directly connected them with a jump cable) with 5, 1/2 watt 10ohm resistors in parellel, and nothing works. both of my seat airbag sensors are bad and im trying to get rid of the airbag light so that i will at least have front airbags. does anyone have any suggestions as of why its not working, and what to do differently? thanks
