I was wondering for all you guys that have the replica nismo kit did your front bumper get easily chipped by rocks and pebbles. I have my kit on for about 3 months and I have lil chipps all over the bumper that has the paint scraped off. I talked to my bodyshop and he explained its the quality of the kit and not because of thin paint. He said wether its 2 stage or 3rd stage the quality of the kit dosent protect from rocks. Because when they primed the kit it was in yellow, not its white chips all over the bumper.
Is this guy for reals or it is really because replica kits dont hold off small pebbles and such?

 

i would think that the chips would be paint related, not the bumper itself. the body shop should have sanded, primed, and painted the bumper. i would talk to the body shop again, or perhaps bring it to a different body shop to have it repainted. good luck.
