Last week I noticed that the emblem on the drivers side is silver on silver, and the emblem on the passenger side is silver on black. is this correct ? or did someone make a misteak.
Also the kickplate on the drivers side came off again. this is my second one, it is all black plastic except for the silver "Z" in the middle. When I purchased the auto in Jan. 2003, I paid for the kickplates, rear spoiler and mud guards, I think the dealer may have left the stock kickplates on instead of the ones I purchased. Can anyone shed some light on this? thanks

 

If you're talking about the Z logo's on the exterior on each front quarter panel, they should both be black with a silver (aluminum) Z.

The kickplates are all aluminum with a raised Z in the center and the three square dots (indented into the metal) on each side of the Z.

 

both sides should look like these, Id say take another look...

Might be cool if he can get the other side emblem silver on silver... sounds cool and quite rare at this point.

The Silver "Z" on black is the standard kickplate. My Brickyard came with the standard plates which were black plastic with the silver Z (very basic - but same coverage and the silver plates). A few months later, I ordered the sliver kickplates and installed them. I have the old set in my garage as a back-up since they look nice.

It sound's as if you have a mis-match set of kickplates - or at least in my opinion w/o pictures.

the emblem is definetly silver on silver on the drivers side, my first thought was that it is a chrome silver w/ black leather. I have to admit that it looks better than the black backing. I will get a pic to show you.

yeah I wanna see this too. Id think you wouldnt see much just a silver disc... without the color difference.
