Default Wanting to paint my roof black

Ok. I had roof overlay and they were scratched up and had many swirls so I took them off about a week ago. But Now I am missing the black roof look becuase My car had black and white contrast. So here it goes, now i am shooting for black painted roof.

I been searching around and people said around 200-400 depend on the shop. Anyone know any good shops around so cal area? (I know I should have posted this in my regional thread but the bigger question comes..)

So what would be some possibly black paint for my roof? (matte, shiny, etcc)

I dont know many paint terms so I would like to know some and if anyone painted their roof please post some pictures and tell me how much you got it for and what kind of black paint it is.

thanks in advance!

sam

It shouldn't be much more than $200-300. I can't tell you how much mine cost because I had a ton of work done at the same time. But all it really is is black base coat with clearcoat to give it the glossy look. Shouldn't be more than $300.

^ Very nice! I am thinking of doing the same thing. I can't justify painting it black if it costs more than $300!!

I have shopped around and I get quotes from 300 - 400. One guy asked what my lowest was and I told him 300, he wants me to bring it in and see if he can do it for less but it will not be much. Idk now if I want to paint the roof black or paint my fusion hood PPW "cept the vents".

I don't see why. They just remove the pieces to either side and mask it off.
