So I got a vt Seibon hood the other day. I had my body shop clear coat it, install the Aerocatch pins, and then install it on the car.

It looks great, but now my alarm thinks that the hood is open all the time. I looked under the hood and the hood open sensor doesn't touch the seibon hood at all. Is there an easy place to relocate the sensor? or do I need to custom fab something?

a lot of those sensors are just a hollow bolt that can be adjusted up if need be. but pics of the sensor would help

 

u just need to raise the latch or the sensor to make contact so it realizes ur hood is in deed shut
