Default New front LED Project

Sinces i got some LEDs left over... I decided to put some on the reflectors









what do you all think?

looks a ton better than everyone else's try at this, considering its been done like 3-4 times before (Acree, Clearcorners, Z store, ect)

too bad no one ever gets them to not look jagged from one light to the next. Awesome work though!

How'd you open the reflectors? Also, how'd you reseal them?

Maybe just heat them up in the oven like headlights. But I would like to know also. I want to paint mine black from the inside.

Its actually a very delicate process, these housing are seal with the plastic lens itself,no glue; you have to heat it up alittle bit and using a small flat head, put pressure...this will cause it to "snap" and the lens comes off, if it comes off in one piece, you got patience...if not ... To reseal, plain RTV silicon.... clean up with WD40.

Not anything higher than 150 degrees! it will deform the lens sinces its vacuum on the inside!

haha thats what i was thining looks sick though would be better if it was clear but still cool nonetheless.
