Thats where I am leaning. I have the new Passport 9500I with GPS and I found a hardwire kit on ebay for 8 bucks. I will probally get that and either wire it to the Homelink or fusebox for a nice stealth look. I have only been a member on here for less than a week though so its taking me a while to read all these threads and DIYs on all the cool stuff to do.

If the power wire for the 9500i is the same as the 8500, then don't pay 8 bucks + shipping for a hardwire kit on ebay. Chances are you probably have a telephone cord lying around your house. Just cut one end off. I've never used the 9500i though, so it might be different.
