no reason to do a wire tuck on the Z. It doesn't look crowded.

Does this have something to do with hiding the wires? Like engine dressing?

notice the first pic. It's a stock engine. It has all the wires, battery, hoses, etc.

second pic is all tucked away and gives you a cleaner appearance and gives off that floating engine look at the expense of losing power steering, AC, etc which i could never do.

I would do it but im not about to lose anything like AC or power steering. The cleaner the better show car or not.

I am deeply into hondas. Wiretucks, rhd conversions, tow hooks, gold dipped motors, 5 luggin, BYS parts, h2b and k motors but i dont think the 350z is at that level of wire tucking yet...

Gotta remember most if not all are still under some kind of warranty !!
And i dont think theres too many people with dedicated show/jdm 350z's that are interested in doing wiretucks yet.

But hopefully in a couple years when my Z reaches the EG/EK/240 status i will def. be doing a wiretuck w/ color matching etc etc etc.. lol.....

I see no need whatsoever for that in a Z's engine bay. It looks a million times better than the Honda's even after the "tucking" job. I know, I am stating my opinion instead of answering the question, but it really seems unneeded in our cars.

^^^^ agree with ghost.....

"wire trucking "is for old car engines that look nasty. all the modern cars now come all covered up in plastic, in my opinion useless to "wiretruck" a z's engine bay that comes already nice from factory

It adds a clean look to older cars, but on new cars, it's just useless with all the plastic trim in engine bays these days. There are even more extreme JDM wire tucks that also include shaving the engine bay of any bolts or holes.

What do you mean by reaching the EG/EK/240 status?
