ok.. that bumper is wicked!

I love the scoops... infact i am about to order a mines intake scoop to put on my OEM front bumper...

Much better to use the stock air box rather then the crappy CAI systems out...

That bumper looks pretty awesome, I agree the one sided scoop kind of looks out of place.. I'd take that bumper tho =)

The AEM intake sounds a hell of a lot better than the stock system, it might not perform any better but sure sounds better

Definately and the AEM does out perform stock, I'm just not going to talk about a 2hp gain like its great but it does outperform stock

That is the C West Full bumper kit. It should actually be available very soon, if not already out.

Smile FYI

That's the newer C-West bumper. Nice front...even nicer if a FMIC was filling the center.

How can an intake make you lose hp? That doesn't make sense to me.

Looks like marketing has infected our lives. Just because something is aftermarket doesn't make it better. The design of the piping is probably better than stock but the principle behind a CAI is flawed compared with the function of the stock intake. Our intakes on the Z are free flowing and unobstructed. There is nothing to gain with piping. The intake on the Z is pressurized at the airbox so power is lost when you take that away (CAI) and relocate the filter farther away from the motor. You are going to lose throttle response and power. A CAI is effective on something with a restrictive factory intake. The Z's is not. There is marketing, puffery, and BS. Then there is scientific fact. Base your decisions on the latter.

Well..... I am not a fan of that design as the front end (opening bit) looks like my girl friend's toyota Vitz (Echo in europe/Australia)...

well... everyone's taste is different, just I have seen too much echos going around here in melbourne, way way way too much, that's why I don't like this design!

cheers,

richie
