Pics of my Carbon Fiber B Pillars
I picked these up from a member on the board named pinnacleliquid. $60 out the door. I really like how they look on the car. I have a CF wing on the way and a CF Nismo shift ****. I want to also add a CF lip to complete the look. (I'm a CF *****) What do you guys think ?

just kidding , I always like when people on the board ask for opinions, then get pissed when people give them.
The pictures didn't turn out that well. In person they don't stand out so much.
-off topic: I loved your Eclipse when it came out. I wanted one so bad, but it was too expensive for me at the time. I think your model looks allot better then the current Eclipse. I would like to see a GSX with the current EVO engine in it. Has anyone done that yet?

Huh, I like them, have seen some in person, and they do look better in person. Good price on them, do you know if he has anymore??? I think they would look real good on SB with tinted windows.

Everyone has done it because the Evo engine is the 4g63-t and the 2g eclipse (1995-1999) engine is.... THE 4g63-t! Hehe, actually the evo is almost identical part wise etc as the eclipse. The engines are the same but the evo is rebuilt and crankwalk proof. What puts the extra 70hp on the evo is the 16g and front mount, plus the bigger injectors, upgraded ecu, and great tuning. Great cars, I love my GSX but I want my 2004 to come in soon!
By the way: just saw those CF B Pillars on a Super Black 350z and wow they do look nice! Probably was just the pics you took I bet they look great on CS and Silverstone Z's too!

Can I ask why the '04 Z and not the EVO? I was interested in the EVO before it came out. I love AWD and turbo engines, I just couldn't get past the EVO's looks. I don't think it looks bad, just a little over done in my opinion. I don't like the big wing, and the 4 doors. The Z to me looks allot more stylish, more modern. Although, if Mitsubishi made an eclipse similar to yours with the EVO, I would be all over it!!

I cannot stand how the lancer evo looks! Drives me nuts that Mitsubishi took it upon themselves to rice the hell out of such a nice and fast car... If the evo was a 2door 2seater with awd turbo that looked like the z I would buy it but then again... who wouldnt! I dunno, the Lancer just doesnt cut it compared to the z.... Might be faster in the straights but the styling of the z beats it hands down.
PS: If I was to forget about looks my choice would be the STI WRX over the lancer anyway

I think the Lan-Evo they brought stateside, should have been the Evo 4 which I think looks good. But to each his own.
OC_350Z the CF B-Pillar trim looks good, i'm liking it the more I see the pic. I agree with you, that if there was a new eclipse with similar body lines as the last generation eclipse mated with the 4G63-T of the LanEvo I would consider getting that car. Not to fond of the current Eclipse though.. look like the old Dodge stealth.

Aproy-
I got them from board member
pinnacleliquid
You can reach him at:
Rich - 1-800-900-6155
www.elegantwooddesign.com
He is located in Anaheim, CA.
bz8 -
The back is completely covered in 3m double side tape. Rich was nice enough to give me some alcohol swabs and some special 3M primer tubes that help the tape stick. They go on over your existing B pillars.
350Now -
I never thought of that, but you are right. The new Eclipse looks like a Dodge Stealth. (I would take the Stealth over the Eclipse)
Zluva -
Real carbon fiber is only in the black shade. He does do lots of other stuff in this Carbon Fiber Look stuff that does come in colors.
One more thing, looking at the pictures I noticed that they look kind of red. In person they look much better. Very dark and deep with allot of depth. If you are into Carbon Fiber, you will like these.

Yeah I know it only comes in a black shade. I have also seen some "carbon/kevlar fiber" pieces done in colors. I guess that's what I should have asked. My bad.
