Default Aerodynamics? spoiler & body mods really help or just looks

I've modified my 350z, turbo, suspension, engine internals, brakes... the car is fast! i like the stock look of the 350z and don't nessessaly want to mod the body but i wondering if the aerodynamics of the oem 350z are good for 160 and up MPH i ve brought it up a few times quite fast and always ask the question, how solid on the ground is my car, should i put a bigger spoiler than stock or even a body kit or this stuff is just for looks. i understand what a body kit should do but hard to belive that it actualy helps with only a few metal screws holding it on.

the front is usually pretty stable the rear is what tends to wiggle. Most body kits are just show but now there is more of a demand for function. The higher end AMUSE C-West Top Secret tend to be functional. Im sure there are guys on here that know wayy more than i do.

Aerodynamics are one of the most important functions of the car, from diffusers to spoilers, splitters, etc. Jarred pretty much summed it all up, depends on what your gaol is for your Z.

I use my car occasionaly i do about 3000 miles with it a year, but fun miles, racing, bit on tracks, no drift... at least for now, but every thing i do is in one objective keep the car on the road without welding it to some ones minivan or a tree so we use wide open highways and tracks. But basicly straight line accelerations and stable high speeds is the goal.

well a good front splitter and rear diffuser and Tall spoiler will do you a world of good.

edit. you might lose some over all top end but it will feel much safer at those speeds

I noticed a HUGE difference at California Speedway having a NISMO spoiler. Same with the roval at LVMS. I guess it depends on the track and the speed. At 150MPH, you can really feel the rear end settle in - quickly.

the nismo V2 is the one that you can tell a difference with V1 is more for looks because it doesnt sit high enough off the back to efficently catch the air off the roof. The V2 is also adjustable. I would still recommend going with a "ricer" wing if you truly looking for efficent downforce.

I think you should get a V3 front and mastergrade diffuser in my opinion. Both provide proven functionality and look great. Your turbo intercooler will love the increased flow on the front and direct flow of air to the brakes for top speeds that your refering to. Also the mastergrade diffuser with the side vortex generators help for top speed stability and both will not hurt your top speed. The spoiler will effect the top end but will also help with down force. I would go with a ricer GT CF wing. You can get them on ebay for cheap and they look better than the V2 in my opinion.

Apr performance makes my favorite wings which they actually recommend for different types of racing.
