Im going to be finishing the LED side emblems this weekend. and as it is completely custom, looking for some input on what you want to see.

the lip of it is raised by about .25" and this will of course light up, along with the silver ring.

do you think the Z should light up as well?(the black section being the only unlit portion) or should the Z stay silver, black stay black, and have the sides light only.

what do you guys prefer?

Solid emblem with lit edge. I don't want the whole "I am Batman" thing going on. It seems to close to "LED exhaust tips" for me. But the lit edge as a side marker is a definite buy for me!

well... what it seems you might have to do it make one to go behind the stock emblem and make one to replace the stock emblem as well, hence the glowing z. All one piece for the led's just will need new emblems to modify the glowing Z ones.

 

the whole peice is poured as one in my case, all custom work. no modifications or add ons.

 

hmm... so it replaces the side emblems completely? will it look the same with the glowing ring around it then?

 

yes that is how it could look. gotta match the silver color tho. black is of course simple to match, silvers a bit more difficult.

I remake it tho for a better overall appearance, and more flexability to do exactly what I want.
