everyone going crazy with R8 mod.. but you this LED is a lil too dim.. make them brighter!

using a heat gun to open the tail lights? to the best of my knowledge, you can't bake the tails and expect them to work afterwards

We have been doing these also looks good just the wrong LEDs too dim

if you need to know where to get brighter LEDs let me know
The LEDs in this pic are spaced 1inch apart at they are so bright they look like a single line lol

daviditaly, you are now officially a rash we can't seem to get rid of on these forums...

OP, nice effort, but an LED "conversion" implies that the OEM halogens have been replaced with LEDs. Keep up the effort and keep trying new things.

how much would you charge to do a set of tail lights?
any installed pics? daytime/night time would be great

Got some pm's to post some pictures.

Got these from e-bay oem.





Did not open them up but drilled them from the back.






Got these led's and registors from e-bay













I did not want that bright look. I was making sure that my brake lights are brighter. I wanted them on with my parking lights.

whats that chrome strip that you have mounted just below the opening of the hatch

swirls marks not on car but in photo edit.

Temp on to hide scratches
