Hi, im going to be trading headlights with a friend who has an 06 Z and i have an 04 Z(hes going to have a shop black out the headlight cover so he doesnt care for the newer look), and i would like to know if you guys know if the 06 hl harness will plug up to the the older 03-05 lights? also ive read the 03 hl harness to 06 lights need a blinker wire cut?

any tips you can share? i imagine not many people have downgraded to first gen lights, but just curious if any has had them out side by side and has compared the harness to the hls?

I swapped w an '06. It was a plug and play exercise. No cuts for either.
The plugs are not perfectly identical, but worked without modification.

awesome, thats good news then, i didnt think the 06 hl harness would mate up with the older hl b/c they dont share the same bulbs, thanks for the input.

only need to splice if its from a non hid to hid. itll be plug and play
