ok so now that my car is paid off i want to get the nismo v1 wing for it. does anyone know where i can get it pre-painted in carbon silver. i cant find it pre-painted. The only ones i find are "primed for painting" or other variations of that.

 

You have to find a place to get it painted yourself or buy one from a member that has the same color.

 

I believe evo-r offers v1 replicas painted.

beware of replicas.. get an authentic imo. I sent a replica back because I didn't like how the tips hit the body of the car and literally pushed out a little bit had I bolted it down. the fitment was also less then stellar.

many will report their replica was fine though, I'd just get an authentic. it looks better when the tips of it don't touch your car anyways :]

 

I heard that the usdm one touch and the jdm ones dont....or vice versa

 

mines authentic, I don't know if you could call it "jdm" as it's usa nismo, but it definitely doesn't touch. every knock off I've seen (including the one I sent back) touched, hell the one I sent back event bent a bit it touched so harshly..

 

do yourself a favor, don't buy anything prepainted

 

agreed.. a paint code will not be an exact match - any close paint matching will need to be painted by someone that can use your car as reference. youd be surprised how bad it looks when its just even a couple shades too light or dark.. I know first hand :]
