Shaving (Debadging) 350z question
hey guys i want to take off all hte emblems on the back. the 350z emblem will be easy but the nissan one im worried about because it has 2 holes. Ive seen lots of people shaved theres and the 2 wholes are gone, how did u do this? Whats best way to do this?
I removed mine, and yes there are 2 holes, but I replaced the NISSAN Badge with a "Z" badge that I purchased from Z Toys for a few bucks. I didn't plan on this originally, but when I saw the holes I either had to plug them (too expensive) or cover them up again!
I then replace the front NISSAN badge the same way.

I did the same thing joentown did. The big Z emblem on the back will cover the 2 holes. Here is another link:

Don't buy cheap replacements, they will discolor in very short order. Guy in our club got a Fairlady badge from Courtesy a few years back and even that turned a pimping shade of gold after a year or less. Front bumper has no holes but does have that indentation - probably a bit more work to fill that in although I have seen many cars that have done it.
